Chairperson of the South African Football Journalist Association, Velile Mnyandu, has criticised the treatment travelling South African media from the Bafana Bafana camp.

There's been very little, or no access to the South African senior national team for media in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in both Mexico, and the United States.

The media has been left frustrated with no regular updates on the team.
