Search halted for missing farm worker in Vaal River

The anxious family of the missing Northern Cape farm worker who drowned in the Vaal River near Douglas on Thursday, say they hope that police divers will retrieve his body soon.

The Malawian national who was employed at a farm in Douglas is part of five farm workers who drowned when their makeshift boat capsized in the river.

The search for the man had to be halted on Sunday due to rain.
