- Three former Ukrainian presidents have decided to return their Polish state awards after Volodymyr Zelenskyy was stripped of the Order of the White Eagle by his Polish counterpart, Karol Nawrocki. The dispute erupted after Zelenskyy decided to give the controversial name of "the Heroes of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army" to a military unit. The Ukrainian nationalist military organization in question is responsible for ethnic cleansing and mass murders of Poles during World War 2.

- Russian authorities in occupied Crimea have suspended the sale of gasoline to civilians as the peninsula suffers shortages caused by Ukrainian drone strikes intended to cut the region off from mainland Russia. Last night Kyiv targeted energy and military infrastructure on both sides of the Kerch bridge.

- Peace talks between the US and Iranian delegations commenced in Switzerland on Sunday after both sides signed a Memorandum of Understating last week. The fragile ceasefire hangs in balance as Tehran wants to continue enriching Uranium, which Washington says was the main reason for its intervention in the Persian
