National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court. Masemola was summoned to the court by the National Prosecutions Authority in relation to the multi-million Rand Medicare24 irregular tender linked to Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala. Masemola is linked to an investigation into an allegedly irregular contract for health and wellness services for police officers. The case was postponed May 13th.
