Police prevent bridge jump daredevils as Parisians seek relief from heat

Police in Paris have had to intervene as young crowds flocked to a local canal for a diving contest, in an attempt to cool off from the heat. As temperatures reached 36 degrees, Parisian police chased dozens of young people scaling and jumping off bridges.
