More Malawian nationals flock to Sherwood Hall

The eThekwini municipality in Durban says the authorities expect the number of foreign nationals seeking refuge at Sherwood in Durban to rise to about 13 -thousand.

The municipality's Mayor Cyril Xaba gave an update in Durban on the humanitarian crisis at the Sherwood hall where thousands of Malawian foreign nationals have been seeking refuge in the last two weeks, following tensions after protests against undocumented foreign nationals.
