Voter Registration | Garden Route, Karoo communities urged to register to vote

Communities still recovering from severe storms across the Garden Route and Karoo are being encouraged to check and update their voter registration details online.

The call comes as the IEC continues its voter registration weekend ahead of the local government elections in November, with some residents still facing challenges reaching registration stations due to damaged roads and infrastructure caused by recent adverse weather.

At voting stations in parts of the Garden Route today, older residents appear to be among those most committed to taking part in the electoral process.
