Voter Registration | Khayelitsha voters hope unemployment and housing issues will be solved

The Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is yet to decide if it will provide another Voter Registration Weekend after this weekend, Saturday June 20 and Sunday, June 21.

The two-day Voter Registration drive is so far the only opportunity voters have to register, verify their status, and to update details ahead of the November 4 Municipal polls.

In Cape Town, voters have been trickling into the OR Tambo Community Hall in Khayelitsha and where SABC News Reporter Yamkela Mtshiyo hs been monitoring developments.
