Voter Registration | All 1,730 voting stations in the North West province are operational

The Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is holding its nationwide general voter registration weekend on 20 and 21 June 2026.

This nationwide drive serves as the critical, primary opportunity for eligible citizens to register, verify, or update their residential addresses in person ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections scheduled for 4 November 2026.

All 23,706 voting stations across South Africa are open from 08:00 to 17:00 on both Saturday and Sunday to assist voters
