Government assures Kenyans of El Nino preparedness

The government has assured Kenyans that comprehensive measures are being put in place to prepare the country for the anticipated El Niño rains later this year. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki says a multi-agency approach has already been activated to minimize the impact of floods, landslides and other disasters associated with the expected heavy rains.
