Foreign nationals march in Durban amid tensions

Police in KwaZulu-Natal are investigating allegations of assault after hundreds of foreign nationals fled their homes and sought refuge at the Durban Central Police Station.
The group, which includes children, comes from various townships and surrounding areas in Durban. They spent the night outside the police station, appealing to authorities and government officials for protection. The foreign nationals claim they have been subjected to intimidation and victimisation by members of local communities following recent protests against undocumented migrants
