Civil society group calls for dismantling of SAHRC

Civil society groups, community leaders, and humanitarian organisations have called for the South African Human Rights Commission to be dismantled. An urgent virtual Imbizo focused on protests against undocumented foreign nationals, but over 400 participants questioned the commission's constitutional mandate, accusing it of contributing to the current situation.
