A US negotiating team, including Vice-President JD Vance and special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, is due to head to Pakistan for talks with Iran "soon", despite Tehran refusing to commit to sitting down for negotiations.

It comes ahead of the expiry expiry of a two-week ceasefire between the US, Israel and Iran.
