Concerns over normalisation of alcohol consumption during pregnancy

A new report has found that alcohol consumption during pregnancy remains deeply normalised in South Africa despite widespread awareness of the risks to unborn children. The findings are contained in the 2026 Sober Pregnancies Report commissioned by Aware.org and conducted by Frontline Research.
