ATM files answering affidavit opposing Ramaphosa's court bid

The African Transformation Movement (ATM) has filed an answering affidavit opposing the President's bid to halt the impeachment committee's proceedings.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is seeking an urgent interdict against the committee's proceedings while his review application for the Section 89 independent panel report is yet to be heard.

He has argued that he will suffer irreparable harm if proceedings were to continue.
