Four killed in Lotus River shooting on the Cape Flats

Cape Town police have bolstered deployments to Lotus River on Cape Flats, following a mass shooting in which four men were shot and killed and another injured.

Its alleged that the shooting is gang related. Mass shootings have become an almost weekly occurrence, despite the inception of Operation Prosper which has seen soldiers deployed to the Cape Flats.
