A fire broke out at Whampoa Makan Place on Friday (Jun 19), prompting a response from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

When CNA arrived at the hawker centre at around 5.30pm, SCDF personnel appeared to have brought the blaze under control. #sgnews #singapore
