Investment gaps, a lack of political will and governance challenges are slowing efforts to expand access to safe drinking water for billions of people worldwide, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) official. While access to safe drinking water is improving globally, progress remains slow, Bruce Gordon, who heads the WHO’s water, sanitation, hygiene and health unit, tells CNA’s Asia Now on Friday (Jun 19).
