It's been over a year since Israel launched multiple strikes on Iran on the 13th of June 2025, an attack known as the twelve-day war.

Since then, the conflict has escalated, with the United States joining, and Gulf countries bearing the weight of the war after Iran, US and Israel exchanged air strikes.

This resulted in major disruptions in international air travel, loss of lives and damage to US military bases in the Gulf.

This week, US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian digitally and remotely signed a 60-day Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement.

The document has been welcomed by many global leaders as a tangible sign to end the war.
