Supreme court gets tough on CJP protest violence | No relief for accused criminals

Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: A fresh controversy has emerged over the CJP protest after Delhi Police claimed that individuals accused in serious criminal cases, including murder, robbery, rape, kidnapping, and other offences, were among the participants. During the hearing on the protest-related violence, the Supreme Court stated that only those with no prior criminal record would be released, while legal action would continue against others. The Court also directed authorities to preserve all video footage and indicated that an SIT probe could be considered. Meanwhile, CJP spokesperson Sourav Das opposed the order, calling it contrary to the government's assurances and warning of renewed protests.

Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: कॉकरोच आंदोलन को लेकर एक नया विवाद सामने आया है। दिल्ली पुलिस का दावा है कि आंदोलन में हत्या, डकैती, बलात्कार, अपहरण और अन्य गंभीर मामलों के आरोपी भी शामिल थे। इसी बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आंदोलन के दौरान हुई हिंसा पर सुनवाई करते हुए कहा है कि जिन लोगों का कोई आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड नहीं है, केवल उन्हें ही रिहा किया जाएगा, जबकि बाकी आरोपियों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी। अदालत ने सभी वीडियो फुटेज सुरक्षित रखने और SIT जांच की संभावना पर भी टिप्पणी की। वहीं CJP प्रवक्ता Sourav Das ने इस आदेश पर आपत्ति जताते हुए इसे सरकार के आश्वासन के खिलाफ बताया और दोबारा आंदोलन की चेतावनी दी।
