JPC Fraud | More arrests expected in multi-million fraud case

The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, the HAWKS, says more suspects are expected to be arrested soon in the multi-million fraud case against disbarred lawyer Peet Viljoen. Viljoen is facing a slew of charges, including 400 counts of fraud, forgery and corruption.
These relate to his alleged involvement in the sale of properties belonging to the Johannesburg Property Company to unsuspecting buyers in 2010. He appeared in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court, where his case was postponed to next week for a formal bail application.
