Kenya commits Ksh3B for maritime research centre

The government has invested three billion shillings in a maritime information and research centre that will strengthen fisheries management and support sustainable exploitation of marine resources. President William Ruto says deliberate investments in fisheries, maritime research and community empowerment have positioned Kenya as a leading ocean economy nation in Africa.
