The supply of natural gas, crude oil, petrol, diesel, and LPG remains stable across the country. Refineries are operating at optimum capacity, while operations at retail outlets and distributorships continue normally. The LPG backlog has reduced to 3.1 days. Over the past three days, 1.47 crore LPG deliveries were made against 1.36 crore bookings. During the same period, 22,945 tonnes of commercial LPG and 1.98 lakh 5-kg cylinders were sold. Since March, 10.02 lakh PNG connections have been gasified, while additional infrastructure has been created for 3.22 lakh more connections. A total of 9.94 lakh new customers have registered for PNG services.
From June 1 onwards, 7,630 tonnes of C3/C4 molecules and 6,230 tonnes of butyl acrylate have been sold.Enforcement efforts have also been intensified. Over the past three days, 21 FIRs related to LPG violations have been registered, six individuals have been arrested, and 1,056 cylinders have been seized. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have imposed penalties on eight LPG distributors for indiscipline and operational irregularities. In the petrol and diesel segment, OMCs have penalized four dealers over the past three days, while approximately 598 retail outlets have been placed under suspension for various violations.
