Live: US, Iran sign peace MoU as diplomatic process moves forward

The United States and Iran have electronically signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at ending the conflict, according to officials from both sides.
The document was signed digitally by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, after plans for an in-person signing ceremony in Switzerland were adjusted. Officials said the move would allow the process to move ahead more quickly, while the Pakistani prime minister said a formal ceremony is still expected to take place on Friday.
The signing is the latest step in ongoing diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran, with a new round of talks scheduled to begin in Switzerland.
