Eligible electorate called to register for upcoming LGE 2026 polls

Political Parties have urged South Africans to check their registration status this weekend ahead of local government elections.

The Electoral Commission holds its first voter registration weekend ahead of the November polls.

More than 23 000 voting stations will be open across the country on Saturday and Sunday from 8-AM to 5-PM to allow eligible citizens to register and update their details.
