The G7 summit in the French Alps has come to an end with a joint declaration of support for Ukraine signed by all G7 leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump.

- UKRAINE UNDER RENEWED ATTACK
While workers at Kyiv’s historic Pechersk Lavra monastery repair the damage left by one of Russia’s latest attacks, Ukraine is once again facing a new wave of strikes. According to Ukrainian authorities, at least ten civilians were killed and more than sixty wounded nationwide. This, as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy attended the G7 summit in France to better Ukraine’s chances at ending the war.

- POLISH-GERMAN DEFENSE AGREEMENT SIGNED
35 years after Poland signed a Treaty of Good Neighborship with Germany, the defense ministers of both countries signed a milestone defense agreement set to improve bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity. The deal follows treaties on security and cooperation with France and the U.K., which were called into question by Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
