Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala and co-accused expected back in court

Alleged underworld kingpin Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala and his three co-accused are expected back in the High Court in Johannesburg today. Matlala is accused of orchestrating the failed assassinations of his former girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni, and music producer Seunkie Mokubung, popularly known as DJ Vettys. Matlala, his wife Tsakane Matlala, and two co-accused appeared in the High Court in Johannesburg on Monday as proceedings continued in their attempted murder case.

The accused, together with another person, face 25 criminal charges, including 11 counts of attempted murder stemming from three separate shooting incidents. SABC News Reporter Neria Hlakotsa joins us for more...
