G7 leaders have backed a joint declaration promising to boost military support for Ukraine and strengthen sanctions against Russia. According to the statement, the allies are also “ready to consider” issuing military production licenses to Ukraine.

At least one person has been killed and seven others wounded in overnight Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia. According to regional governor Ivan Fedorov, Russia carried out five strikes on the city.

NATO forces are deploying advanced naval drones during maritime exercises in the Baltic Sea. These unmanned vessels simulate attack threats to prepare allied crews for modern sea combat.
