Trump says Iran will 'never have a nuclear weapon’, as he attends G7 summit | BBC News

US President Donald Trump has said Iran will "never have a nuclear weapon" in his preliminary deal to end the war.

Speaking at the G7 summit, Trump also said that without him "there would be no Israel" and criticised Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu.

Fighting between Hezbollah and Israel has continued, and Iran has said Israeli troops must withdraw from Lebanon.

Netanyahu said his troops will not be withdrawing and the framework deal was reached between Iran and the US, not Israel.
