Child Protection Month marred by tragedy in KZN

As South Africa observes Child Protection Month in May, the family of a 6-year-old girl from Amahlongwa, near Umkomaas on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, is mourning her tragic death.

Sinesihle Kathi died after allegedly having been raped and assaulted by her own father.

Thirty-two-year-old Sihle Ntshiza has since been arrested and appeared in the Scottburgh Magistrate's Court.
