For centuries, the music of the Kazakh steppe has lived on through the sound of the dombra and other traditional instruments. Today, a new generation of musicians is bringing that heritage to new audiences, blending old and new, acoustic and electronic, past and present. From the TURAN Ensemble to young artists like Temirlan and Yernat, their music is creating a bridge between generations and cultures. Aigerim Kali has the story.
