Youth Month | Mental health and generationl trauma facing youth

While many of the class of 1976 sustained physical injuries at the hands of the brutal apartheid regime, a lot more experienced mental and emotional trauma that has since been transfered down over generations to the current crop of young people. Ayanda Mhlongo is an Inclusive Development Strategist whose work considers the relationship between historical trauma and its effects on sustainable development in the country. She joins us now on some of her findings and recommendations.
