Legal Aid staff to hold two-day protected strike: Michael Motaung

Legal Aid South Africa employees will stage a two-day protected strike on 17 and 18 June, with the South African Lawyers and Allied Workers Union citing chronic understaffing, frozen vacancies, salary disputes and poor working conditions. The union says the action follows months of failed attempts to resolve the dispute through the CCMA, with workers now reaching breaking point.
