Youth Day | President Cyril Ramaphosa to address 50th commemoration in Soweto

President Cyril Ramaphosa will lead the National Youth Day Commemorations, and deliver the keynote address in Soweto this morning.

The day marks the Golden Jubilee of the the historic 1976 Soweto Uprising when police shot dead young people protesting against the apartheid education system.
