Over 100 million women in India have joined self-help groups, with over 30 million becoming “Lakhpati Didis.” Under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, more than 60% of loans went to women. Financial inclusion improved via Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, with over 320 million women’s accounts. Women now hold about 25% stock market participation and 42% startup representation.
