US, Iran agree on Pakistan-mediated prelim deal

The United States and Iran have agreed to a Pakistan-mediated preliminary deal that is now expected to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but defers some issues to further talks.

U.S. President, Donald Trump, says the Strait would be open without any tolls being charged, and the U.S naval blockade would be removed.
On news that the deal would be signed on Friday, the oil price has plummeted.

The development has been welcomed in several capitals around the world, and at the United Nations.
