Russian #military bomber #crashes in Siberia

Another blow to Russia’s strategic aviation.

A Tu-22M3 long-range bomber crashed during a training flight in Siberia’s Irkutsk region.

According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, the crew ejected safely, while footage circulating online appears to show the aircraft diving into a forested area before bursting into flames.

The strategic bomber is one of Russia’s key long-range strike bombers and has been used in attacks against Ukraine.
