Preparations for the Rath Yatra 2026 are gathering pace in Puri, Odisha, with the construction of the three grand chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra underway.

The sacred work began on Akshaya Tritiya following traditional rituals and customs. Skilled artisans are engaged in the preparation and assembly of the chariots ahead of the world renowned festival that draws millions of devotees every year.
