#Albania resort #protests grow

Protests continued overnight in Albania’s capital Tirana, with thousands taking to the streets to demonstrate against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s luxury resort project set to be built upon protected wetlands on the country’s southern coast. Since the protests began a little over two weeks agon, the movement has come to encompass concerns over corruption and opposition to Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government.
