SA preps for Commonwealth Africa Speakers’ Conference

South Africa says it is ready to welcome parliamentary leaders from across the continent as final preparations are completed for the 19th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth Africa Region. Hosted by the South African Parliament and the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, the conference runs from the 15 to 20 June. Delegates will focus on the role of legislatures in promoting sustainable development and political stability across Africa.
