F State learners finally get proper school shoes

Some parents in Meloding, Virginia in the Free State say they are happy that their children will finally go to school in proper school shoes. Unemployment and poverty are rife in the area and the parents say they cannot afford to buy school shoes for their children. The Non-Profit Organisation, 1 Million School Shoes Campaign, together with the Free State Department of Education and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, handed over 1 300 pairs of school shoes to 19 schools in the Matjhabeng and Masilonyana local municipalities.
