France Supports India’s Make In India Vision #EmmanuelMacron #pmmodi

While speaking at the inauguration of Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, French President Emmanuel Macron highlighted France's position as Europe's most attractive destination for investment for seven consecutive years, with €93 billion in investments announced this year alone. He showcased France's strengths in AI, aerospace, quantum technologies, advanced manufacturing and clean energy, emphasising the country's leadership in data centers and large language models through Mistral AI.

President Macron said the Bharat Innovates platform creates a powerful bridge between India's innovation ecosystem and France's thriving tech landscape, including French Tech, Choose France and France 2030. Reaffirming France's decade-long support for PM Modi's vision of "Make in India," he noted that French companies have been actively investing in India's industrial growth, defense, security and innovation sectors. Macron stressed that France and India are building far more than economic ties, creating a long-term partnership driven by technology, innovation, talent and shared ambitions for the future.
