Col Jean Mabona remembered for breaking barriers

Trailblazer and healthcare pioneer, Colonel Jean Fezeka Mabona has been remembered as a woman who broke barriers and dedicated her life to serving South Africa. Former President Thabo Mbeki joined mourners in Dutywa in the Eastern Cape to pay tribute to the first African Officer Commanding of the South African Military Health Service Nursing College.
