Madlanga Commission | Suspended Tshwane CFO denies tender rigging

Evidence Leader Matthew Chaskalson has told suspended Chief Financial Officer of the City of Tshwane Gareth Mnisi at the Madlanga commission of Inquiry that his answers are transparently false.

Mnisi did not take kindly to Chaskalson's comments.

This after the evidence leader retraced the steps following a back and forth questioning between the Commissioners and Mnisi, saying he will prove it to Mnisi that his testimony is false.

Mnisi has denied that he allegedly conspired with Deputy Chief of the Tshwane Metro Police Department, Umashi Dlamini and Sergeant Fannie Nkosi in tender rigging.

The Madlanga Commission is investigating allegations made by Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi saying a criminal syndicate had infiltrated law enforcement agencies in South Africa.
