10 years later, no sports at Rantanda Stadium

A scene erupted between two municipal councillors, and security personnel at a stadium in Ratanda Township, in Heidelburg.

The two, who are part of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee, were blocked from entering a public facility that has cost taxpayers nearly R20 million. The stadium in question has never been operational and remains closed to the community, despite being completed nearly 10 years ago.
