1 Million school shoes campaign in full swing

In communities where poverty and unemployment continue to affect everyday life, something as simple as a pair of school shoes can make a world of difference.

The 1 Million School Shoes Campaign, in partnership with the Free State Department of Education, is bringing hope to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds by handing over 1 300 brand-new pairs of school shoes in Meloding, Virginia, and surrounding areas of Matjhabeng.

The initiative aims to restore dignity and support children who often walk long distances to school barefoot.
