Launch of Gun Free Gauteng Campaign

The Gauteng Provincial Legislature's Portfolio Committee on Community Safety, together with Gun Free South Africa, is launching the Gun Free Gauteng Campaign to tackle the growing spread of firearms and rising gun violence across the province.

The campaign comes amid renewed concern, following the recent mass shooting in Cleveland, Johannesburg, where 12 people were killed and 15 others injured, highlighting the devastating impact of illegal firearms on communities.
