Limpopo SACP holds provincial congress today

The South African Communist Party in Limpopo is holding its provincial congress this weekend at Tivumbeni College in Nkowankowa, Tzaneen.

The congress comes as the party moves towards contesting elections independently from its alliance partner, the ANC, following a national decision to go solo.

The gathering is also expected to reflect on the party's recent electoral performance in local by-elections.
