The death of Cartrack employee Gcina Dhladhla has raised serious concerns about workplace wellness, employee care and the importance of responding appropriately when workers report ill health.

The 29-year-old employee reportedly collapsed in a toilet cubicle at the company's offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg after notifying her supervisors that she was not feeling well.

Her untimely death has prompted family members, labour organisations and concerned citizens to demand clarity and accountability regarding the circumstances of her passing.
