The Ministry of Rural Development is ensuring uninterrupted rural employment under MGNREGA and a smooth transition to the upcoming VB G RAM G scheme. ₹17,744 crore has been released for wage payments, and a 125-day employment guarantee under VB G RAM G will be notified soon.

Under PMAY-G, the target is to build 4.59 crore houses by March 2029, with real-time monitoring and timely DBT payments. PMGSY road projects are progressing, with expanded funding and new phases underway.

Overall, increased budget allocation (+21%) is supporting demand-driven schemes, while PMKSY 2.0 is advancing agriculture and land development across 50 lakh hectares in coordination with multiple ministries: Joint Secretary Amit Shukla, Ministry of Rural Development
